Association Boost – Administrative Support
Purpose and goals
The purpose of the project is:
to strengthen the association life in Leader Lappland through administrative support, education and follow-up of eight umbrella projects, as well as to contribute to knowledge dissemination and enable the transfer of good examples and working methods between the actors who in various ways come into contact with the umbrella projects – both at the association level and within the administration.

About the project
An administrative support project linked to the eight umbrella projects Föreningsboosten.
The project will coordinate, administer and follow up sub-projects in eight municipalities within Leader Lappland 2030. The purpose is to ensure a legally secure, accessible and efficient handling of incoming applications as well as to support associations throughout the process – from idea to reporting.

LAG board's decision justification
The LAG board decided to prioritize the application as the project in a concrete and
feasible way strengthens the association life in the entire Leader Lappland area
through targeted administrative support to eight parallel umbrella projects. By
offering associations simpler paths to support, education and guidance, engagement,
participation and development are promoted even for the smallest and most resource
limited actors. The board sees great value in the project creating
structure, routines and capacity that make it possible to quickly capture
local ideas and turn them into many smaller, but significant, efforts
that benefit people throughout the area. The project is assessed as particularly important
for long-term strengthening of civil society's ability to carry out its own
development efforts, and thereby contribute to a more vibrant, inclusive and
socially sustainable countryside.
