Realize Your Idea: We Are With You!

Has your project been approved? Is it now time to turn the idea into reality? We will accompany you throughout the journey.
Get your project started

From idea to reality!

When implementing your project, it is crucial that you follow the project plan. Review it carefully before you begin the work. If you are a group participating in the project, it may be beneficial to already plan how you will distribute the tasks and to establish dates for regular project meetings. Through these meetings, you have the chance to discuss and document the actions you have taken and the upcoming steps. This will simplify the work with reporting and final accounting.

You have the opportunity to start incurring costs in the project from the day you submitted your application via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service, but be aware of the potential risk, especially before the formal decision from the Swedish Board of Agriculture has been made. Therefore, it is recommended that you avoid major investments in the project before the decision is finalized.

We strive to support your success and will be available throughout the implementation. By having follow-up meetings and offering assistance with applications for payments, we will support you in your process. Remember that our support is just an email away!

Since the decision is based on the application with the project plan and budget, it is necessary that you notify and obtain approval from the development office for any deviations from these plans. Otherwise, there is a risk that the support cannot be paid out. Of course, we will help you adjust the project plan if needed.

Take part in your support decision and get all the necessary information!

The support decision provides you with details regarding the actions you need to take during the implementation of your initiative. Remember to also read the attachment ”Other Information” that is included with the decision.

Use the correct logos

Let it be known that it is a leader project

All projects that have leader funding must show this by using the correct logos. This applies, for example, to advertisements, information sheets, and websites.

We help spread information about your initiative in our channels – feel free to tag us to highlight what is happening.

Together we make the community thrive

Remember that you are our best ambassador! Please tell others about us and the opportunity to apply for leader support.

Advice and information along the way

An opportunity

Apply for an advance

When you have received approval for your project and are ready to start it, we recommend that you submit an application for an advance. To do this, log in the same way you did when you submitted your original application, with your bank ID on My Pages at the Swedish Board of Agriculture's website.

Once you have logged in, you will see a menu on the left side of the screen. Go to ”e-services within My Pages” and then select ”business support, project support, and environmental investments.” Then click the button ”Start the service.”.

Now, select ”Application for payment” and then ”Advance payment”. You can receive up to 50 percent of the total support as an advance, but a maximum of 250,000 kronor. Part of this amount comes from the EU and another part comes from Sweden. Please note that the maximum advance amount is limited to the part that comes from Sweden. The exact amount is specified in your support decision.

Important

Do not forget the information obligation

It is important that you clearly emphasize that the investment or project receives funding from both the EU and Leader Lappland 2030. You should also describe the goals of the initiative and the results achieved. This information should be visible on your website and your social media platforms until the final payment has been made. Additionally, it is essential to include information about the project support in other relevant documents and informational materials.

To learn more about how you should communicate about your project and manage the logo requirements, we recommend that you read through The information and communication guide that is sent to you in connection with your decision.

Make sure to follow the information and logo requirements carefully, as failing to do so may result in reduced payment of support. All information regarding your specific circumstances is detailed in your support decision.

Apply for changes

Is the project not going entirely according to plan?

It is very important that you follow the project plan when you implement your project. However, sometimes unexpected things happen. If something arises that makes it difficult to carry out the project as planned, it is good to contact us at the development office. You may need more time or extra money. Before you make any changes, it is important that you talk to us first.

It is important to remember that different changes require different kinds of handling. Therefore, it is best to always talk to us at the development office if you want to change something. Sometimes we can help you directly. In some cases, however, our board needs to make a decision.

When you start incurring costs

Apply for payment

After you have received a decision on support and have incurred expenses for the project, you can apply for partial payment at any time. We recommend that you apply within three months after the project has started, and then regularly throughout the duration of the project. The application for partial payment is simple and is done smoothly via My pages on the Agricultural Agency's website.

If you need help or have questions about the application for payment, you are welcome to contact our development office. We are here to support and guide you through the entire process. If necessary, we can even help you with the very first application for payment.

Tips from the office

How to avoid deductions

To ensure that you receive the support you have applied for, accuracy is important. Therefore, it is important to read the decision and follow the conditions, project plan, and budget. If you do not follow these, you risk not receiving the funds you have applied for. Keep in mind that only the expenses described in the decision entitle you to support.

To avoid any deductions, it is important to use the correct logos on all material.
