Norrlandstoner – Music &
musicians from the inland

Purpose and goals

The purpose of the project is to create an open and inclusive music activity where young and local musicians have the opportunity to perform and create community through culture and music in Storuman.

The goal is to conduct a music café with live music from Västerbotten's inland.

About the microproject

Norrlandstoner wants to create an open music scene where local music from Västerbotten's inland is in focus. During a concert evening in Storuman, young local musicians have the opportunity to perform their own music while people of different ages and backgrounds can meet around live music and coffee. The evening takes place in the premises of the Pentecostal Church but is open to everyone. The ambition is for the project to be the start of more music cafés and collaborations that strengthen cultural life and give local musicians more opportunities to be seen and heard.
