What is the support about?
Microproject – For Diversity is a support for you who want to carry out an activity that makes your village or locality more open, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone – regardless of background, culture, language, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The purpose of the support is to promote a more inclusive community environment where people feel seen, welcomed, and involved.
You apply for the amount you need to carry out the project. It can be a smaller idea for 3,000 SEK or a larger arrangement for up to 30,000 SEK. We assess each budget individually based on reasonableness and benefit.
You can receive support for example:
- Creates meetings and understanding between different groups
- Highlights different stories, languages, cultures, or identities
- Promotes inclusion of people with different backgrounds
- Builds community, safety, and openness
- Counteracts loneliness, exclusion, or prejudice
When can one apply?
Applications are accepted continuously as long as there is money left to distribute.
Who can apply?
You who are 26 years or older can apply for support, either:

as a private individual

or through an association, organization, or other local actor
Municipalities and other public entities cannot apply for this support.

The purpose is to strengthen Ume Sami as a minority language, promote diversity, musical development, and self-esteem among the participants in the Soul choirs, while also contributing to increased understanding of the Sami area.
The goal is to create a Swedish/Ume Sami song for children and youth.

The purpose of the subproject is to increase knowledge about LGBTQI issues and create a more inclusive sports environment by educating association leaders and athletes in Lycksele.
The goal is to build a long-term and sustainable change in the association life by organizing a lecture and digital workshops that promote respect and understanding for LGBTQI people.

The goal is to provide participants with concrete tools to create inclusive and safe environments through an educational initiative.

Pride Week. Video Games
The purpose of the activity is to create a safe and welcoming place where different people can meet and feel community through video games and Pride-related activities.
The goal is to carry out an event with retro video games as a meeting point.

Storuman Pride
The purpose of the activity is to increase openness and inclusion in Storuman by highlighting the rights of LGBTQI people.
The goal is to carry out a Pride concert in Storuman that creates a safe meeting place, highlights the rights of LGBTQI people, and strengthens community and inclusion in society.

Curling on mats
The purpose of the activity is to create an inclusive and easily accessible leisure activity for people with disabilities.
The goal is to purchase a customized curling mat with accessories that will be placed in municipal facilities with permanent access for the target group.

Rescue service for all – Meetings
across borders
The purpose of the subproject is to promote a more inclusive and open working environment within the rescue service in Arjeplog by raising issues of equality, diversity, and mental health.
The goal is to conduct a workshop and lecture for station staff as well as to share experiences from a networking event for women in the rescue service, as inspiration for recruitment activities and attitude change within the corps.

Joint football conclusion for everyone
The purpose of the activity is to create an inclusive meeting place where people of different ages and backgrounds can meet and socialize around football, to strengthen community and participation in the association and society.
The goal is to conduct a free football event with a lecture and a shared meal.

Ski community in Solberg
The purpose of the project is to promote inclusion and community in Åsele by offering a free skiing activity where individuals regardless of background, age, or economic conditions are given the opportunity to meet, participate, and feel a sense of belonging.
The goal is to conduct a joint ski trip.

Gospelturné i inlandet
Syftet med projektet är att skapa möten mellan människor i inlandet genom gemensamma musik- och köraktiviteter som stärker inkludering och gemenskap.
Målet är att genomföra en turné med konserter och en kördag där deltagare från olika orter möts och deltar i gemensam sång.

LAG board's decision justification
The LAG board decided to prioritize the application as the umbrella project aims to promote inclusion, openness, and diversity by creating social contact areas for individuals with different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, as well as to integrate and include newcomers and individuals from the LGBTQI community in society in Lapland.
