About the project
In the village of Vinliden, work is underway to complete Orrvingården – a new, modern, and sustainable community center that will replace the previous meeting place that was destroyed in a fire. The project is driven by the Vinliden interest association and is crucial for strengthening community, quality of life, and future optimism in the area.
Orrvingården is being built to be energy-efficient, easy to maintain, and accessible year-round. The venue will serve as a central meeting place for both residents and visitors, and will be used by associations, organizations, and businesses in the area. Here, opportunities for activities, study circles, meetings, and events are created that contribute to a vibrant local community.
The project strengthens the conditions for social sustainability by reducing loneliness and creating new contexts for people of all ages and different backgrounds. Planned activities include cooking courses, crafts, fishing activities, and guiding, which also strengthens the tourism industry.
With its location along snowmobile trails and close to nature, as well as access to a well-developed broadband network, Orrvingården contributes to making Vinliden more attractive for relocation, entrepreneurship, and tourism. The project is an important step in creating a long-term sustainable and vibrant countryside.

LAG board's decision justification
The LAG board decided to prioritize the application as the project contributes to an
attractive and sustainable residential region by creating an important meeting place for
the village. The project is well anchored locally, meets a clear need, and engages
both associations and residents. It aligns with the Leader strategy and
strengthens social environments as well as the local community.
