Parking Spaces Lauker Development

We want to develop and improve Lauker and its surroundings by increasing entrepreneurship and promoting tourism in Arvidsjaur municipality. Lauker, a village with about a hundred inhabitants, lacks a store, fuel, and a school, but we who live here are unique in our choice to live in the countryside and we are strong, creative, and innovative. Therefore, we have an idea to build a parking space for motorhomes and caravans opposite the Byastugan. This will involve 9 parking spaces, a service building with a kitchen, dining area, shower, and toilets, as well as a facility for a waste disposal site. The location is beautifully situated and visible from National Road 94, making it easy for tourists to find.

Through the project, new businesses and services will be created that can be offered to our guests. Tourists will be able to participate in activities such as guided fishing trips, snowmobile safaris, and hiking on trails in our beautiful landscape. Our café will also be kept open more continuously and the possibilities are endless. The project will contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in Arvidsjaur municipality, increase cooperation for local development, and engagement for the village's future. In addition, it will spread knowledge about local history, nature, environment, and culture, which hopefully will increase tourism in our locality and in Arvidsjaur municipality.
