microprojects
– a quick and easy solution
Do you have an idea at your company, your association, or your organization that can contribute to the development of our rural areas, but need less support to get started? Then you can apply for a microproject to get the support you need.
We at Leader Lappland know that even smaller efforts can lead to big effects.
short info
Microproject
Simpler administration and faster decisions
Applying for a microproject is an easy way to get support to implement a local idea – without having to start a full-scale Leader project. It means less administration, shorter processing time, and a smoother process.
Each microproject is granted within the framework of a larger umbrella project, and we have a special budget set aside for this.
Shorter project time
A microproject should be time-limited to a maximum of 6 months, which makes it possible to quickly implement smaller, concrete efforts.
Voluntary effort as a counter-performance
We would like you to contribute with voluntary time or engagement in the project, as a way to demonstrate local drive and commitment.
Step 1
Anchor your idea
Your first step is to think through your idea and preferably anchor it in the village, town, or network where it will be implemented.
Consider:
-
What need the idea addresses
-
Who can benefit from it
-
If there is something you can do together
Also, take a look at our different microproject categories (FOR youth, WITH youth, FOR diversity, or FOR green community) and think about which one fits best for your idea.
