The minigolf course

The project will create a minigolf course that is accessible and open to everyone, a meeting place for young and old that stimulates movement and activity outdoors.

About the project

Previously, there was a minigolf course at the location where we plan to build it again, right in the village! The idea came when the pandemic started in earnest and the need to meet in ”safe” ways increased. There is also a lack of an outdoor meeting place in the village and opportunities to do activities outdoors together. We feel that there is a great need to create this meeting place in the village where everyone, young and old, can gather.

In connection with the minigolf course, there will also be a grill area to enhance the opportunity to meet and do things together.
There are about 20 children and young people in the village, and the idea is that they will participate in the activities and thereby gain leisure activities. We have talked to them, and they are interested in the project and participating.

We have also talked to the residents of the village and at the Örträsk local heritage association's annual meeting, the idea was presented and
a unanimous meeting supported the project.

From the Project Application

”The target group is to gather young and old in the same place. To create a meeting place for everyone!”
