A Living Countryside
With the project, we want to show that it is indeed possible to make changes where one lives, works, and thrives. To show that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something, that it is possible to realize one's dreams.
Purpose and goals
The purpose of the project is to:
strengthen the feeling of being able to influence one's countryside and create a sense of hope and a desire to change one's area.
The goal of the project is to:
– Conduct 2 events
– Produce at least 40 films to be used during the event and for future efforts, including for dissemination on social media.
– Create new networks
– Include young people in the production of films as well as participation in at least one event.
About the project
We want to create more films of activities that have contributed to a change in the area over the next 1.5 years. These films should show that if one wants to, it is possible. Even though it may feel difficult, it is possible to reach part of one's dream, or in the best case, the whole! To showcase the multifaceted palette that contributes to the image of our countryside within Leader Lappland 2020.
It is important here to highlight different industries, activities, meeting places, etc. All films produced should go through a working group that includes young people so that we can incorporate the youth perspective in all aspects.
We also want to conduct a new evening event where we will focus more on exchanging experiences, mingling, and discussions around enabling activities. For this evening, we also want to invite various funders and public actors to showcase the opportunity!
