Gargnäs/Råstrands fishing conservation area has seen an increase in the sale of fishing permits in recent years, which has contributed to a positive rise in outdoor tourism in the area. This trend has inspired the fishing conservation area to expand its service and accessibility so that everyone can take part in the area's resources. To achieve this goal, the fishing conservation area is investing in the project ”Get Out” to increase accessibility.
About the project
The project aims to increase the attractiveness of the fishing conservation area by improving accessibility, which in turn is expected to increase the sale of fishing permits to both individuals, companies, and tourists.
The project has two parts, where the first step is to implement two targeted actions to make outdoor life accessible to all. The first targeted action includes the demolition of an old bridge and the construction of a new bridge, as well as the repair of the road to Laxselet.
The second targeted action involves moving a floating cabin to a new location. The project concludes with an event in the form of an inauguration, aimed at attracting families with children and young people to the area to create an interest in outdoor life.

– Increase accessibility to fishing and the mobile outdoor life in the area for groups that may have difficulty accessing nature
– Improve the infrastructure for fishing tourism
The goal of the project is:
– Construction of a new bridge and repair of the road down to Laxselet
– Relocation and construction of a floating cabin in a new location
– Inauguration
