Collaboration for the development of various outdoor activities
Auktsjaur is part of the network BYARINGEN, a ring of villages connected by roads. The idea with BYARINGEN is to collectively create various activities that will strengthen development, create conditions for people to want to live and work, and feel hope for the future by realizing that we are not alone but that we do this together.
About the project
This project is based on creating various family-friendly activities, both within individual villages and by connecting several villages. To achieve this, we have the following goals and plans:
First, we will develop digital bike maps that are interconnected. These maps will include interesting sights, tips on accommodation, dining options, and other exciting experiences.
In addition, we will explore the possibilities of offering electric bike rentals at strategically selected locations. By providing these environmentally friendly transport options, we aim to promote both health and the joy of discovery.
Another important part of the project is to create hiking trails specifically designed for children under 15 years old. These trails will offer various exciting experiences and give children the opportunity to explore nature in a fun and educational way.
To include car-driving individuals of all ages, we will develop a concept for a quiz trail. By participating in this activity, participants will experience different places in BYARINGEN while having fun together.
Finally, we will design a forest bingo activity that is specifically aimed at children. This concept will give them the opportunity to participate in an exciting forest experience and discover various things in nature.
By implementing these plans, we hope to create a variety of entertaining and stimulating activities for the whole family.
From the Project Application
”We believe in collaboration between villages because we as a village are too small to make a real difference for the area.”
