Larger investments
Project support
If you have a comprehensive project idea, you should apply for funding for project support. However, it is important to note that the project must fit within one of our focus areas. You apply digitally via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service, and the applicant must contribute with voluntary work.
Our board makes decisions continuously, and upon approval, a formal decision from the Swedish Board of Agriculture is also required, which takes about 3-5 months. A leader project involves some administrative handling, and we recommend that applications cover at least 100,000 SEK. However, there is no fixed upper limit for the support amount.
The board always assesses the requested amount in relation to how the project contributes to Leader Lappland 2030's established indicators and goals. Keep in mind that the higher the support you apply for, the higher expectations the board has for the project's results.
Smaller investments
Microproject
a microproject is an excellent alternative for smaller initiatives that do not require a comprehensive budget. By carrying out a microproject, both administration and decision time are reduced.
In order to apply, your project idea needs to fit within the focus of microprojects. You can easily submit your application via a form available here on our website. Just like in larger projects, it requires voluntary work.
Decisions are made by a decision committee, and a formal decision from the Swedish Board of Agriculture is not required.
Here, ideas for a cost of up to about 30,000 SEK fit.
Smaller investments
Project support for businesses
Project support for businesses is a form of business support. Here, companies can receive up to 70% or a maximum of 200,000 SEK in support for efforts aimed at developing the company.
”Project support for businesses” applies if the project primarily benefits one or a few businesses.
The company needs to collaborate with someone else, who also benefits from the effort, for example another company or an association. It is also an advantage if the effort contributes to some form of public benefit or general local development.
Project support for businesses is applied for in the same way as a project support and is assessed in the same way.
